Senior British Diplomat Visits New Texo Group Acquisition

The new integrated asset services specialist, Texo Group, has today announced the acquisition of Navitas Compliance Solutions.

The engineering and technology group, which announced its launch earlier this week is rolling out an ambitious and transformative strategy to meet the immediate and long term strategic value-add needs of their clients.

Navitas Compliance Solutions deliver dynamic and innovative services to the global energy sector. This encompasses HSEQ Consultancy, Competence Assurance and Resilience services as well as Skills and Behavioural Training. The business has particular in-depth knowledge and expertise of the East African Oil & Gas sector and is regarded as an expert in operations and supply chain management in this region.

In recognition of this expert knowledge of the East African energy sector the newly appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of Mozambique, Ms NneNne Iwuji-Eme has today visited the business on a crucial fact-finding mission.

Ms Iwuji-Eme was given a presentation and briefing on the technical and vocational skills training requirements for Mozambique in advance of the country commencing major LNG projects, worth at least an estimated $10 billion with the FID due in 2019. The High Commissioner is looking to gauge and leverage commercial opportunities for UK companies to play their part in these projects.

The business which will be rebranded as Texo Compliance will become an integral part of the Texo Group of companies. It will continue to build on its established operating base, with particular attention given to the East African sector. The business will be based at the Texo Group headquarters at Westhill in Aberdeen.

James Murphy, managing director, Navitas Compliance Solutions said: “Joining the Texo Group was an easy decision for us. The Group and its vision is a breath of fresh air for the sector in terms of both service offering and long-term innovation.”

James added: “Being part of this ambitious engineering and technology group will help us reach heights that we simply could not have achieved on our own. The Group’s synergistic approach to supply chain offering for projects is a step change for clients and my team and I are looking forward to playing our part in the long-term future of the business.”

Ms NneNne Iwuji-Eme, British High Commissioner to the Republic of Mozambique said: “I was very excited to see the vast depth of experience by Texo Compliance, the wider Texo Group and their partners. The sharing and building of such knowledge and expertise will be crucial to address the long-term opportunities in Mozambique.”

Texo Group is set to meet the demand for integrated engineering services within critical infrastructure. Representing an unprecedented offering in turnkey services to both UK and global markets, encompassing initial design, through to lifecycle management of critical assets.

Providing integrated asset services, Texo Group will become a leading Inspection, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (iEPC) specialist for multiple sectors, including: Oil & Gas, Clean Energy & Renewables, Marine, Nuclear, Telecommunications, Utilities and critical civil/Infrastructure.

With its origins in intelligent asset management and advanced inspection technologies and building on the success of this business, Texo Group is currently undergoing an extensive expansion plan to ensure commitment to its integrated iEPC ethos.

The business will be headquartered in its purpose-built facility in Westhill, Aberdeen, alongside strategically placed fabrication facilities at the Port of Dundee, Hebburn and a new, bespoke fabrication facility located at the Port of Blyth, alongside overseas Drone operating bases in Nigeria, Malaysia and Brazil.
