Internal Fleet Grows Due To Huge Client Demand
Following a period of rapid expansion and massive client demand, Texo Drone Survey and Inspection (Texo DSI) has increased the company’s Internal UAV capability.
A substantial investment in this novel technology will see Texo DSI become the market leaders in Internal and Confined Space UAV Inspection operating a fleet of 10 systems.
Deploying in confined and hazardous areas, the systems benefit from dual visual and thermal sensors, paired with super bright LED lighting to allow for the safe operation in confined unlit spaces. The internal inspection system configuration allows for detail of 0.2mm per pixel to be attained for engineers, while its rapid deployment and manoeuvrability allow for tanks and other vessel structures as small as a diameter of 6m by a height of 25m to be inspected thoroughly, in as little as 30 minutes.
The advanced agility and flexibility of this UAV system negates the need for and time to be spent on, the development and installation of other engineering access solutions. Engineers can utilise shutdown windows at a much greater value, and in cases reduce this window to ensure minimal disruption to operations without compromising on the data gathered.
The Texo DSI internal UAV system had been successfully deployed on a number of mission critical assets including the Paragon HZ1 Jack-up in Denmark (where it collected essential engineering data from a tank inspection).
